私は、痛みの形を描いています。
絵の中の少女は私自身であり、同時に「他者から見られる身体」でもあります。

油彩とアルキドで滑らかな“膜”をつくるのは、鑑賞者がその表面を鏡や窓のように覗き込み、別の世界を感じられるようにするためです。
その膜は、現実と絵のあいだを曖昧にし、見る人の存在を作品の中に溶け込ませます。

鮮やかな色彩と、描き込みの重さ。
その共存は、可愛らしさと痛みがぶつかり合う人間の複雑さを映し出しています。

私の作品は癒しを目的としていません。
自分が過去に感じた痛みを、見る人にも、未来の自分にも忘れられないように、生々しく刻みたいと思っています。
近年は、人間とその存在する環境との関係に興味を持ち、描かれた人物の痛みや感情が、より鮮やかに伝わるように制作しています。

私は、絵を描くことで現実の中に感情の痕跡を残し、そこに確かな存在を与えたいと考えています。
別府の湯けむりと光の中で、今日も描いています。

Kazune Shintaku is a painter who depicts the shape of pain through the figure of a girl — at once herself and a body seen by others. The memories of loneliness and rejection she felt in adolescence still move within her, and she paints to trace that restlessness and make it visible.

Working with oil and alkyd, Shintaku creates a smooth surface that functions like a mirror or a window, inviting viewers to sense another world beyond it. This membrane blurs the boundary between reality and the painting, allowing the viewer’s presence to melt into the work itself.

Through vivid color and dense rendering, her paintings reveal the collision between cuteness and pain — an image of human complexity and paradox. Her work is not intended to heal; rather, she seeks to etch the pain she once felt into the present, so that neither she nor the viewer can forget it.

Recently, Shintaku has become increasingly interested in the relationship between people and the environments they inhabit, pursuing ways to make the pain and emotion of her subjects resonate more intensely on the canvas.

She continues to paint in Beppu, surrounded by steam and light, giving form to traces of feeling that persist within the real world.
